Beginning IStudents will learn the Greek alphabet, basic vocabulary, and how to formulate words into sentences to engage in short conversations. The course will help them build toward both reading and oral fluency.

Beginning IIThis course expands on the grammar learned in Beginning I with more extensive teaching of verbs in the present tense as well as masculine, feminine, and neuter nouns. The three adjective genders are broken down and taught in a way that is accessible to young students. Course readings introduce new words and grammar through stories about children and their everyday life.

Beginning IIIFundamentals of grammar, syntax, oral expression, listening comprehension, reading, and composition. Students develop the skills and vocabulary necessary to read simple texts and hold basic conversations. Students are introduced to modern Greek culture, history, and society.

Intermediate I The course continues on an integrative skills approach and aims to develop language skills, within a framework of specific topics and functions. The course objectives are to enable students to perform a range of tasks, master a minimum core vocabulary and acquire knowledge and understanding of various forms of Greek culture.

Intermediate II Students will learn how to greet people, introduce themselves, talk about their family and activities, book and purchase travel tickets, rent or buy a house, buy Christmas presents from the store and food from the grocer, purchase medicine, ask for information at a bank, etc. They will be able to answer basic questions and construct full sentences in Modern Greek.

Intermediate IIIStudents build their reading and writing skills in Greek as well. Weekly stories, skits, and songs serve to build students' confidence and prepare them to recognize and use Greek in a real-world setting as they learn both basic grammar rules and vocabulary.
Upon completion of the course, students will have developed the language skills necessary for basic activities such as introducing yourself, interpersonal communication. |

Advanced IICourse topics include description of a friend or relative, information about a village or a town, advertisements, clothes, personal and everyday items, trips, weather, cultural festivities and events, public services, dangers, diet, studies and more. Students will develop reading, writing, listening and speaking skills.

Advanced III Topics include character and characteristics, family, traditions, introducing myself, types of buildings around the world, renovation, description of a house, relationships, feelings, arts, shows, Greek music, vacations, hotels, clothes, colors, Greek islands, online shopping, traditional costumes, meals, diet, healthy eating, school life, professions, weather forecast and carrier advisors . Students will develop reading, writing, listening and speaking skills.
